Regina A. Cook Accepts Executive Director Position
November 4th, 2016. The Louisa County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Regina A. Cook has accepted the position of Executive Director, effective November 14th, 2016.
Cook comes to the Louisa County Chamber with a formal education in Occupational & Technical Studies (Old Dominion University, BS) and a practical background in business consulting as the Owner of Xam Solutions, LLC. Cook also has experience in financial services, event planning, and human resources.
The Executive Director manages the day to day operations of the Chamber at the direction of the LCCOC Board of Directors. The ED will direct all aspects of Chamber business including all administrative, fiduciary, program, and business development initiatives.
“Regina brings a strong and diverse set of skills to our Chamber. Not often do you find a singular person with so many attributes that are relevant to delivering value to our membership. We believe she can lead the Chamber’s on-going efforts to enhance the experience our members enjoy today, while raising awareness for our organization regionally and consequently helping us grow the Chamber”.
Cook also brings a technical training background that is expected to pay huge dividends for Chamber members.
“We have a lot of members who just don’t know all that our Chamber has to offer them, or in many cases, they just simply don’t know how to use the Chamber to help them grow their business.”
Cook has been a resident of Louisa County since 2006 and has been very active in volunteer positions around the region including: Alzheimer’s Association; March of Dimes; Upward Sports; and others.
