Mark your calendars for this year's Business Person of the Year Awards Dinner, where we will honor an outstanding member of the business community. This year's keynote speaker will be Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling. (More information will be announced in the near future).
We are accepting nominations now for this year's recipient. Please submit the name of your nominee and tell us why you think they should be recognized as the Chamber of Commerce Business Person of the Year. Please provide as much detailed information about the nominee as you possibly can to help our Selection Committee make their decision.
Business Person of the Year Nominee Criteria
The Business Person of the Year Award is given not only to recognize the recipient’s success in business, but also their leadership and involvement in the community through other valuable ways.
The contender must:
1. Be a community leader who is a Chamber member in a Louisa County business
2. Participates in increasing job opportunities
3. Offers potential for economic growth through his/her business (Does not have to own the business)
4. Gives back to the community through civic involvement.
